Tokens, typography and components used across christopher-park.co.uk. Direction C is a warm editorial system — cream paper, ink type, a single coral accent, set in Fraunces with JetBrains Mono for meta.
The palette is deliberately small. Warm carries the page; ink carries the words; coral is reserved for emphasis, italic accents and the single lead-rule that marks every section.
A variable serif set against a precise monospace. Fraunces does the talking — with optical size pushed to 144 for display, and italic lows acting as the only coral accent in body copy. JetBrains Mono handles labels, meta and navigation.
Two fluid values do most of the work — one for page padding, one for the content rail. Everything else is composed against the 1280 px maximum.
Components below appear in the “Work” section on the home page and across the CV timeline. Same tokens, inverted — warm becomes ink, ink becomes white, coral stays.
